The artwork, "The Sea Within Me", was part of an exhibition at 06870 gallery where 300 artists were invited to paint 12x12" panels on wood gesso. A portion of the sales was donated to support children’s art workshops in Greenwich, CT. This piece reflects the calm sanctuary Leka finds within herself during emotional storms. The blue and white blending follow the gentle rhythm of the sea, reaching the peace felt after the chaos. In this work we can explore the vast ocean of feelings that lives within us all.
