In “Oceano: Um Reflexo”, The Ocean is represented as a mirror of four states of mind. Leka doesn't paint the sea as a view, but as a way of expressing what can be felt, the dualities between calm and movement, tension and stillness. A process guided by intuition, bringing what lives inside of us to the surface. The Ocean in this work is  movement, a reflection of emotions that shift like tides. Painting becomes the tool to release what needs to be expressed, a way to reveal what asks to come forward.
